NAVAIRDEVCEN PRESENTATIONS TO THE BUREAU OF NAVAL WEAPONS SYMPOSIUM ON ADVANCED TECHNIQUES FOR NAVAL AIRCRAFT ELECTRIC SYSTEMS, 14 SEPTEMBER 1961.

Abstract

Work progress is reported for materials and components of electric and electronic systems, wiring and cables used for Naval aircraft. All three of the papers in the conference are of interest to Plastec. Acceptance criteria for meeting reliability standards are discussed. Thermoset and fiberglass reinforced thermoset composites used as jacketing for wire and cable are mentioned. Teflon was also used as electrical insulation. (LS-PL).
