THE APPLICATION OF CIRCULAR ARRAY THEORY TO THE CORNER REFLECTOR ANTENNA

Abstract

The application of the theory of circular antenna arrays to the corner reflector antenna is described. Circular array theory is summarized and applied to corner reflectors with elements on the axis, t half-circular arrays with a plane reflector, and to arc arrays in corner reflectors. Methods of designing corner reflector arrays to give specified patterns are given,AND CONSIDERABLE DATA OF USE TO A DESIGNER ARE PRESENTED. (Author)
