SOME REMARKS ABOUT THE PHOTOPRODUCTION OF STRANGE PARTICLES

Abstract

An elementary escription of strange particles photoproduction by adding to the Born terms some contributions due to resonances is presented. For Channel I (intermediate nuclears) and III (intermediate hyperons), the situation is exactly the same as for the associated production amplitude. For the Channel II (intermediate k-mesons) we have the possibility of an intermediate pi - K state. If we call K' the observed resonance, we replace the cut corresponding to the pi K intermediate state by a pole at the resonance energy. (Author)
