SYNTHESIS OF OPTIMAL CONTROLLERS FOR A CLASS OF MAXIMIZATION PROBLEMS

Abstract

A class of final value control problems are presented where the outputs of linear plants with time varying input upper bounds are to be maximized with a cost of control c(t)z(t) at time t, where a bounded control variable z(t) generates an actual input y(t) to the plants via an integrator.
