THERMODYNAMICS OF ZIRCONIUM AND HAFNIUM CHLORIDES

Abstract

A study was made of the complexity of processing and separation into elements of Zr-Hf due to their closen ss in propertie and their polyval ncy. T e thermodyn ic prob bility of individual processes was stu i d and the thermochemical co st nt ( E CONT T EN ROPY, EAT CAPACITY) eeded for the thermodyna ic calcula ions of cert in chlorides of Zr and Hf were determined.
