Inertial Components Study.

Abstract

Evaluations of inertial components used in the ballistic missile weapons systems were conducted; testing methodologies and measurement techniques used in the evaluation of precision gyros and accelerometers were studied; and knowledge of the state of the art of inertial components was maintained. Additionally, a critical problem area in the Minuteman development program was investigated and special tests were conducted in connection with the generation of quick fixes for the AMR Minuteman checkout procedures.
