The Deep Dip Electromagnetic Detector.

Abstract

A detailed description i given of the basic techniques which were developed to design a very sensitive underwater magnetometer. A very sensitive magnetic loop detector was designed and built, u eful from about 5 to 10,000 c at any ocean depth. The theory and so e results are given. A comparison is made of the loop and magnetic rod antenn s T H HELIUM MAGNETOMETER IS DISCUSSED FOR UNDERSEA USE. (Author)
