Vortex Flow in a Dissociating Gas,

Abstract

A NALYSIS CONCERNS A SIMPLE VORTEX FLO IN CO PR IBLE, INVISCID, DISSOCIA ING GAS. N UMERICAL RESULTS FOR FROZEN FLO AND EQUILIBRIU FLOW AV BEEN OBTAINED, USING Lighthill's ideal dissociating gas mo el. Th differences in pressure and density between these wo limiting cases are large, however it is r latively all in te perature. For non quilibrium flo ca th re oe no e ist a simple vortex flow of the conventional type. (Author)
