A DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC DETERMINATION OF THE FUNDAMENTAL TONE FREQUENCY

Abstract

The proposed device for automatic determination of the fundamental tone frequency has the distinquishng feature that, to produce more defined maximum pulses corresponding to maximum correlation functions, it contains balanced modulators for voltage multiplication. The first inputs of these modulators are connected to the delay line taps. The outputs of the modulators are connected, by means of accumulators (filters) and a commutator, to the output device. This is a binary counter or a trigger for producing pulses which are width-modulated in proprtion to the period of the fundamental tone frequency. (Author)
