INTRODUCTION TO METALS FOR ELEVATED-TEMPERATURE USE

Abstract

The general categories of metals suitable for application at temperatures in excess of 800 F are discussed, with the general advantages and limitations of each. Some generalized mechanical- and physical-property data are included, and problems of reactions at elevated temperatures are discussed.
