MATCHING AND ERROR COUNTER

Abstract

The matching and error counter described was expressly designed to be used with the data transmission equipment supplied to Project MIDAS. The purpose of this counter is to compare the transmitted signal with a reference source signal of the same time base and record sync and data errors. In addition, the matching and error counter will record a loss or dropout of the timing signal. This system uses a tuning forkAS A TIMING REFERENCE TO RECORD SIGNAL DROPOUTS. (Author)
