MANDRELS FOR FILAMENT WINDING

Abstract

A suy presented of current state-of-the-ART PRACTICES USE TRNANDRS FORFILAMENT WINDING, WITH EMPHASIS ON PRESSUREVESSEL APPLICATIONS. Inorganic salts and lowmelting alloys are often used as matrial emsarfilament-winding pressure vessels of smaller diameters. The inorganic sa do not exhibit good dimensional stability at elevated teera e-sized mandrels, and the low-melting-point metal alloys are too heavy. Bcausef requirements of strength and rigidity, combinations oandc plaster on collapsible, segmented, metal sections or plasterboard bulkheads a used in the filament winding of rocket motor cases 54 iin tr
