SM 65. AIRBORNE POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM TEST (FACTORY) TEST PROCEDURE

Abstract

The procedure for testing the airborne power supply (APS) using Deck 9-702 in the automatic programmed checkout equipment (APCHE) is described. Deck 9-702 performs a test to determine the operational readiness of the APS. The APS inverter is started on Ground Power with no load and its voltage and frequency are checked. The inverter input is then transferred to internal (simulated battery) power, and its output is transferred to the missile loads. The voltage and frequency of the inverter output are again measured.
