Abstract
A 15,000 hp power plant was reduced in envelope volume by consolidating and integrating every component. The design incorporates the newer technologies of the steam and water lubricated bearings, improved condenser tube configurations, high-performance boiler feed water pumps, canned generator stator, and rotor components.
