THE FOUR MODES OF PROPAGATION OF ADIABATIC WAVES IN A PLASMA. RESEARCH ON A THEORY OF MAGNETOGAS DYNAMICS

Abstract

A study of wave propagation in an infinite uniform plasma is presented. In most experimental applications, the plasma is limited. The many problems that this situation introduces are not discussed. Only the structure of different waves in the simplest case of plane wave in an infinite medium is examined. (Author)
