Compilation of Unpublished Materials Information.
Abstract
Mechanical property data, not heretofore published, are presented for 16 materials. These data were obtained from materials programs conducted during the past 5 yrs. The following materials are contained in the data compilation: Al alloys - 2014, X2020, 7075, 7079; Mg alloys HK31; Ti alloys - Ti-4Al-4Mn, Ti-5Al-2.5Sn; low alloy steel (90% Fe, or greater) - SAE 4340; high alloy steels (less than 90% Fe) - W-545, A1S1 431, AM-350, PH15,Mo; Ni alloys - M-252, U-500; sandwich material - Kraft paper honeycomb; and bearings - staking of bearings with plastics.
