LOW FREQUENCY RADIATION FROM AN ELECTRIC DIPOLE IN A COLD ANISOTROPIC PLASMA

Abstract

Expressions for the electromagnetic radiation from an electric dipole in an infinite cold anisotropic plasma are presented under the condition that the operatingfrequency is much less than the ion gyro frequency. It is found that the major portion of the radiation is concentrated along the direction of the magnetostatic field. (Author)
