AUTOMATION OF THE SOVIET RUBBER INDUSTRY

Abstract

A program aimed at automatic control of operations at synthetic-rubber plants currently being conducted by the Voronezh Branch of the Specialized Design Bureau for Automatic Equipment (OKBA) is described. The account includes an interpretation of requirements for over-all automation, for the development of techniques of automatic control and regulation, and for the application of computer technology to the rubber-production process.
