ON A SUCCESSIVE APPROXIMATION TECHNIQUE IN SOLVING SOME CONTROL SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION PROBLEMS

Abstract

A way of constructing minimizing sequences for functionals in optimization problems has been given and the procedure is proved to converge. The procedure is shown to b that of the Newton's Method in Banach Spaces. (Author)
