STUDY AND INVESTIGATION OF A UHF-VHF ANTENNA

Abstract

The study of diffraction of a plane w ve by a ferrit sphere was xtend d to include a small lossy inner sphere enclosed within and concentric with the original ferrite sphere. A summ ry of t e math matical results was compiled for he theoretical study of the diffraction of an incident plane wave by a long ferrite cylinder. The total power passing through the cylinder was ev luated on the computer and compared with the power incident upon a cross-section area equal to that of the cylinder in free p ce. The ratio rses to peaks greater than ten. A study of the scattering of a plane wave by a ferrite spheroid was i i i ed. The radiation from a materialfilled ractangular waveguide H plane sectoral horn was analyzed. The problem of the radiation from ferri e-filled double taper horn fed by a rectangular waveguide was also analyzed mathematically.
