COVARIANT ELECTRODYNAMIC POTENTIALS IN DE SITTER SPACE

Abstract

A potential distance D is defined by means of which covariant scalar, vector, and tensor potentials may be constructed. A vector potential is defined in de Sitter space whose skew-symmetric derivative satisfies Maxwell's inhomogeneous field equations. A generalization of the gravitational theory of A. N. Whitehead to de Sitter space is discussed in an appendix. (Author)
