SECONDARY FLOW ABOUT A SPHERE ROTATING IN A VISCOUS LIQUID INSIDE A COAXIALLY ROTATING SPHERICAL CONTAINER

Abstract

The problem of secondary viscous flow about a rotating sphere located at the center of a spherical container which rotates at a different speed about the same axis is considered. The stream function and velocity distribution of the secondary flow are obtained. Several examples of streamline patterns are given. (Author)
