SYSTEMS RESEARCH IN MICROLOGISTICS AND HUMAN FACTOR ASPECTS OF SMALL GROUP CAPABILITIES IN A POLAR AREA

Abstract

This report deals with the initial phase of research on systems of equipment, supplies, and related materiel in a selected polar environment. The emphasis in this study was on investigating the form in which such systems may be assembled and what measures may be used to discriminate the effectiveness of such systems as complete units. The degree to which logistical inputs and operational outputs interact with system component design and activity of personnel was also examined.
