ION SHEATH RESEARCH
Abstract
A continuing program of research on problems connected with the hypersonic plasma sheath is described. A number of basic theoretical problems are being studied, a series of missile borne experiments is in progress, an special laboratory test facilities including a shock tube and hot-shot wind tunnel have been developed.
