ANTENNA SYSTEMS FOR SATELLITES

Abstract

An approximate theory is developed for the calculation of the radiated field from antenna systems consisting of short elements protruding from the metallic shell of a satellite. This theory is applied to various configurations to find the one giving the most uniform field. (Author)
