THREE-DIMENSIONAL SEPARATION AND REATTACHMENT IN TURBULENT FLOW

Abstract

The concept of wll-streamlines is shown to be a very powerful and appropriate tool for studying the behavior of laminar three-dimensional boundary-layers on convex bodies. This conception is generalized and applied to the turbulent case. The mathematical development is then applied to the case of ring airfoils. (Author)
