CONTRACT FOR ARCTIC GEOMAGNETIC RESEARCH

Abstract

The operation under arctic conditions of a new type of magnetograph is described which records the variations of the horizontal intensity by means of a photografic variable area. The performance of the instrument was studied during four years by comprisons with the standard equipment of the Godhavn Observatory. (Author)
