APPLICATION OF THERMODYNAMIC METHODS OF IRREVERSIBLE PROCESSES TO THE STUDY OF BOUNDARY-LAYER HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER

Abstract

Heat transfer between a capillary-porous body and a gas-mixture flow is not only of theoretical interest, but is also of practical significance. When heat transfer occurs with evaporation of the liquid, the mechanism of heat and mass transfer in the boundary layer near the surface of a body is considerably more complex, and cannot be described by the classical rules of heat and mass transfer analyses of experimental data are presented.
