RESEARCH ON PHASE EQUILIBRIA BETWEEN BORON OXIDES AND REFRACTORY OXIDES, INCLUDING SILICON AND ALUMINUM OXIDES

Abstract

Progress is reported on phase equilibria studies of the systems TiO2-B2O3, ZrO2-B2O3, HfO2-B2O3, and ThO2-B2O3-Na2O. A literature survey was made for each of these systems. Preliminary experiments of a reconnaissance nature were also conducted.
