STUDY OF METEOROLOGICAL SURVEILLANCE OBSERVING SYSTEM
Abstract
INVESTIGATIONS ARE DIRECTED TOWARD THE DESIGN OF A SYSTEM CAPABLE OF OBSERVING FIELDS OF METEOROLOGICAL VARIABLES IN THE LOWEST MILE OF THE ATMOSPHERE OVER AREAS OF THE ORDER OF 50 X 50 SQ M FROM REMOTE OPERATING LOCATIONS. A comprehensive review of pertinent literature was made and an analysis of the lower atmosphere was initiated which will serve as a guide for the selection of system components. (Author)
