PROTEIN ABSORPTION IN SPRUE
Abstract
Studies were conducted on the feeding of vegetable (yeast) protein labelled with the stable isotope of nitrogen 15N to normal individuals and to patients with sprue to determine if there is a difference (1) in the rate of absorption (2) in faecal and urinary excretion, quantitatively and qualitatively.
