EXTREMELY LOW FREQUENCY WAVES IN AN INHOMOGENEOUS HYDROMAGNETIC MEDIUM AND GEOMAGNETIC MICROPULSATIONS

Abstract

A new type of wave motion is described which can exist in an inhomogeneous hydromagnetic medium at extremely low frequencies under certain conditions on the conduviy graent of the medium. he basic hydromagnetic equations consist of Maxwell's equations, Ohm' law, an equation of motion for a non-viscous medium, and the equation of continuity.
