OBSERVATIONS OF ATMOSPHERIC SCATTERING NEAR THE SUN'S LIMB

Abstract

The scattered solar spectrum, 3.25 minutes of arc from the limb of the sun, extending from 0.7 microns to 4.7 microns, has been observed at Flagstaff, Arizona. The scattering efficiency is observed to be greater at the longer wavelengths. (Author)
