Abstract

This report consists of mechanical and physical properties data of various binary and ternary formulations of ZrO2, a correlation of measured thermal shock data of ZrO2 with known thermal shock expressions, and interpretations of various criteria that are developed. Measurements of the thermal shock, expansion, emittance, strength, thermal conductivity and heat capacity data were made.
