Theoretical and Experimental Investigation of Linear Beam Microwave Tubes. Parts 1 and 2A.

Abstract

This final report consists of a collection and discussion of seventeen separate technical reports. They are concerned with basic studies on beam-circuit interaction, interaction circuits, electron beams, and cathode phenomena. The main purpose was to increase the understanding of such important phenomena as spurious signal generation, X-rays caused by RF induced high speed electrons, cathode limitations, and related phenomena.
