A SURVEY OF BIOASTRONAUTICS 1961-1962 RESOURCES FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Foremost among the questions to be answered by future exploration of space are those concerned with bioastronautics. A research and development program for manned space flight during the next two decades will serve both to establish human productivity in space-based systems and to stimulate the advancement of concepts of military action for exploiting human capabilities. Information and ideas which must be considered in the formulation of a long range program aimed at manned exploration and use of outer space are discussed.
