PROJECT LIGHTNING

Abstract

The design of a computing system proposed under different assumptions from the ones previously proposed under this title is detailed. The structure of the machine is outlined; the registers, sequencing, addressing, instruction repertoire, and the elaborate input-output system are described. Many questions of detail remain to be worked out.
