ELECTRON ATTACHMENT OF SEF6

Abstract

During recent years, formation of negative ions as received considerable attention because of its intimate relationship to atmospheric physics and to some plasmas of low and moderate temperatures. Experimental results recently obtained in a laboratory st on the formation of negative ions of SeF6 by collisions with electr ns having energies in the range from 0.1 eV - 1.5 EV are discussed. This analysis deal with attachment through two-body collisions.
