REENTRY AND DISPOSAL PHENOMENA FOR NUCLEAR AUXILIARY POWER SYSTEMS: COMPILATION OF ATMOSPHERIC PARAMETERS OF INTEREST

Abstract

Data are presented on the variation with altitude of atmospheric physical properties required in analyzing the re-entry burnup behavior of nuclear auxiliary power system components. These data are based on the 1956 and 1959 ARDC Model Atmospheres. Also included is information on prevailing winds, necessary in computing the diffusion of burnup debris. (Author)
