LAYERED CYLINDRICAL SHELLS

Abstract

The equations of motion for a two-layered circular cylindrical shell are derived neglecting shear deformation and rotatory inertia. As examples, three cases are considered: the propagation of longitudinal waves, ring-type vibrations, and the case where the two Poisson's ratios are equal to 1/3. (Author)
