HUMAN ENGINEERING ANALYSIS OF THE AUGMENTED FOUR WHEELS SYSTEM

Abstract

This report is a description of the human engineering aspects of the IFR, Precision Approach Radar (PAR), Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR), Communications and VFR Tower shelters of the AN/TSQ-47 System. It describes the layout, equipment configurations, operational functions and ambient conditions for each of these shelters. The final sections outline human engineering recommendations for common aspects of the system and recommendations for future efforts on the system.
