EXISTENCE AND STABILITY OF SOLUTIONS OF A DELAY-DIFFERENTIAL SYSTEM

Abstract

Differential systems involving rather arbitrary retarded arguments have received much attention in the Russian literature, particularly during the past 10 years or so. This is apparently due, in part, to the importance of such systems in automatic control theory. The basic existence theorems and an introduction to the Lyapunov method for a generalized difference-differential system are presented. (Author)
