A PULSE FUNCTION, SINGLE AXIS, COMPENSATORY TRACKING APPARATUS

Abstract

An apparatus which provides a one-dimensional compensatory tracking task for psychological research is described. A photograph, schematics, and description of the circuitry are included. The apparatus was developed to fulfill the requirements of a task designed primarily to compare tracking performance under normal gravity to performance under zero or other abnormal gravity. The task is to attempt to keep the spot on a cathode-ray tube centered using an aircraft- or similar-type control stick. (Author)
