ELECTROMETRIC METHODS OF ANALYSIS

Abstract

INSTRUMENTS USED IN ELECTROMETRIC ANALYSIS AND THE FEASIBILITY OF USING THE INSTRUMENT FOR SEVERAL TYPES OF ANALYSIS ARE DISCUSSED. A new automated instrument and a new technique for electrometric analysis presented at the Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy are reviewed. A study was made to find the most rapid method for the determination of chlorine and bromine in organic compound using microanalytical techniques. The results obtained from this study enable the microanalytical laboratory to obtain an analysis in approximately fifteen minutes. (Author)
