NUCLEAR EMULSION TECHNIQUES FOR THE MEASUREMENT OF FAST-NEUTRON ENERGY SPECTRA

Abstract

Techniques employed to determine fast-neutron spectra with nuclear emulsions are described in detail. The report is divided into two parts. The general theory involved in the exposure of nuclear emulsions is developed in the first part, along with descriptions of procedures and equipment used. The second part is a presentation and discussion of some of the data obtained with nuclear emulsions. (Author)
