SWITCH CHATTER MONITORING DEVICE

Abstract

A description is given of a switch chatter monitoring device that is used to determine whether or not a switch chatters for longer than a specified period of time. The system was designed primarily for time durations of 40 and 50 microseconds, but is also capable of time durations up to and including 120 milliseconds. The device was successfully tested using a mechanical and an electrical switch. (Author)
