SPHERE GRINDING AND POLISHING TECHNIQUES

Abstract

Several methods for the grinding and polishing of hard materials such as yttrium-iron garnet are discussed. Those methods which have been attempted in preparing samples for the study of solid state ferromagnetic microwave amplifiers are outlined to show the development of a final and successful semi-automatic machine method.
