Abstract
The successful exploitation of the lunar complex will depend in a large measure on the ability of the entrepreneur to seek and develop the natural resources with a minimum expenditure of energy. Therefore, it is desirable to look critically at the selection of lunar sites which will satisfy most of the requirements such as the design of temporary structures which will enable man to initially withstand the hostile lunar environment, yet be strategically located to the natural resources with safe spaceport access corridors. The theme of this paper is orientated to investigating these aspects and the probability of success in the economic and technical senses.
