TOXICITY OF BERYLLIUM

Abstract

This report includes descriptions of the effects of the absorption of Be and specific measures designed to prevent illness and maintain health among persons who work with Be. The report covers the history of Be disease, hygienic standards, environmental control procedures, sampling and analytical procedures, housekeeping, personal hygiene and plant sanitation, and a medical program. Illustration of ventilation controls are included. (Author)
