SHIPBOARD RADIO CONTROL C-3866(XN-1)/SRC
Abstract
Results are presented of acceptance tests conducted on Radio Set Control C-3866(XN-1)/SRC. The radio set control provides for operation of Radio Set AN/URC-9( )X, RF Amplifier AM1565( )/URC, and an antenna multicoupler by means of Control-Indicator C-3868(XN-1)/SRC in conjunction with Radio Set Control C-1138/UR or C-1207/UR (radiophone units). Functional demands made by as many as four radiophone stations located throughout a ship may be transferred by Radio Set Control C-3866(XN-1)/SRC to the transmitting-receiving equipment. It is possible to dial and obtain proper operation on any of 19 channels (preset on Radio Set AN/URC-9( )X, RF Amplifier AM-1565( )/URC, and an antenna multicoupler) from a telephone-type dial located on the C-3866(XN-1)/SRC front panel and also from any of a maximum of four remotely located telephone-type dials and associated radiotelephone units. A separate squelch control is provided for each of the 19 channels. (Author)
